After an upstart winemakers untimely death, his sister steps in to try to save his fledgling winery for his eight-year-old son: American Wine Story blends this with other tales of risk and reward for those who chase their American Dreams with a bottle in one hand and a corkscrew in the other.
The creators of American Wine Story are now at work covering one of the great wine stories of our time, and we'd love your support. We're making a documentary about the greatest wine celebration on earth: Les Trois Glorieuses in Burgundy. And it's unfolding during this 2016 season, the most difficult year on record. The small winegrowers are struggling to survive, but they won't let that stop them from throwing the greatest party on the planet.
All of you who've supported independent film know that these projects don't happen without grassroots support from movie and wine fans like you. We've been granted unprecedented access to film the legendary events of Les Trois Glorieuses this November. And we've launched a campaign to help fund a complete crew to capture the dramatic harvest and the multiple moving parts that make the Three Days of Glory the pinnacle of wine celebration.
So please take a look at the site and help spread the word. And thanks for all of your support of independent film projects. Documentaries like this one would not happen without you.
